Aisha jamila Hinds was born in America and is best-known for her role in The Shield. She has demonstrated her versatility through 2003 when she has delivered outstanding performances on TV shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 1-8-7 and Under the Dome. Anna's character as a character in Assault on Precinct 13 was her debut big breakthrough. Her performance in the biographical film All the Way as the feminist activist Fannie Lou Hammer brought her to the notice of the general public. Hind also earned high praise for her role as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's historical drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that the show will be renewed for another season.
