Lil Yacthy is an artist as well as a rapper and singer. He is most well-known for his hit single "One Night". Miles Parks McCollum, his actual name is Miles Parks McCollum. He is also known as the names Nautica Boat Boy and Lil Boat. Two mixtapes of his, "Summer Songs 2" and "Lil Boat" led him to become an international household name. But this was not the first time he was singer. The singles "One Night" and "Minnesota" were the first songs to be recognized in August 2015. Both of them were released as part of his debut EP (Extended Play) called 'Summer Songs'. He currently has music labels like 'Capital Records,'Quality Control Music and 'Motown Records under his belt. Yachty has worked with a variety of prominent rappers, including 'D.R.A.M. as well as "Chance the Rapper. Yachty also sells his own items on his official website. The website offers glimpses into Yachty's private life as announcements about upcoming performances tour dates, performances, and other performances. This website and Yachty's social media pages are the most comprehensive information on Yachty's music as well his daily life. While at Pebblebrook High School, Lil Yatchy, worked at McDonald's. This was where he made friends with other hopeful rappers and producers. Yachty began attending Alabama State University as a graduate student, but quit after two months. Yachty was a huge fan of songs that were unique and challenged the norms from his early years. He was influenced by his father who introduced him to many types of music. He adopted the nickname "Yachty", and moved from Atlanta Georgia to New York in 2015 to follow his dream of becoming a professional musician. He stayed with a close friend in New York and searched for opportunities to join the music industry. Meanwhile, he networked with online street fashion personalities and built up a decent following on Instagram. He also teamed up with Burberry Perry producer and beat maker and later , his primary collaborator K$upreme. The trio is collectively known as "The Saling Team' and worked in Lil Yachty's bedroom studio. Drake's OVO Sound Radio airing of his hit song 'Minnesota ' was his first big hit. Lil Yachty's breakthrough moment was through his song '1Night'. The video was shared onlineand soon became viral. He came under the media's interest when the SoundCloud version of "One Night" was used in an online meme.
